Preparation

Now that you've ordered your Congo Bar mix, let's go over how to prepare the dessert.

What you'll need:

  • 9" x 13" baking pan
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • (optional) 2 TSP vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Empty dry ingredient mix into a large mixing bowl.
  3. In separate bowl, mix (wet ingredients) two eggs and butter.
  4. Slowly add butter and egg mixture into large bowl with Congo Bar mix. Use your preferred mixing method to mix all ingredients together.
  5. Coat your baking pan with parchment paper, or preferred non stick ingredient, and spread Congo Bar mixture into pan and smooth out the top.
  6. Bake 25 minutes, or until edges are light golden brown. 

Mixing Ingredients

  • Give packaged ingredients a good mix before mixing with the eggs + butter.

Ready to Bake

  • Once oven is preheated and ingredients are well mixed, flatten dough on a 9" x 13" baking pan. For easy clean-up and for best results cover pan with parchment paper.
  • Finished!
    • Set timer for 20-25 mins and remove from oven when edges have turned golden brown. Let cool, then cut and serve. Cut 6 x 4 for 24 servings.
