Now that you've ordered your Congo Bar mix, let's go over how to prepare the dessert.
What you'll need:
- 9" x 13" baking pan
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- (optional) 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon canola oil
Directions:
- Preheat Oven to 350 degrees F.
- Empty dry ingredient mix into a large mixing bowl. *For easier mixing, separate chocolate chips with a strainer and add back in after mixing we ingredients (after step 4)
- In separate bowl, mix 2 eggs, butter, and milk (wet ingredients).
- Slowly add wet mixture into the large bowl with Congo Bar mix. Use your preferred mixing method to mix all ingredients together. Once wet and dry ingredients are consistently mixed; mix back in chocolate chips, pecans, and coconut.
- Coat your baking pan with parchment paper, or preferred non stick ingredient, and spread Congo Bar mixture into pan and smooth out the top.
- Bake 30-35 minutes, or until edges are light golden brown.
Mixing Ingredients
- Give packaged ingredients a good mix before mixing with the eggs + butter.
Ready to Bake
- Once oven is preheated and ingredients are well mixed, flatten dough on a 9" x 13" baking pan. For easy clean-up and for best results cover pan with parchment paper.
- Finished!
- Set timer for 20-25 mins and remove from oven when edges have turned golden brown. Let cool, then cut and serve. Cut 6 x 4 for 24 servings.
